1xBet casino review: a vast slot lobby, read against its rules
1xBet's casino rules define RTP, but the lobby prints none, and its stop list of wagering games is dated June 2022; the licence checks out.
By Vera Lindqvist
Our 1xBet casino review scores the casino and slots side 4 out of 10. The lobby is enormous and the rulebook unusually complete, down to a named list of roughly 1,500 games excluded from bonus wagering. Against that: no RTP printed before a game loads and a stop list dated June 2022. The Curaçao licence does check out.
What we read, and how
This desk read the operator’s own pages on 26 October 2026: the general terms, the casino chapter (26), Fairness & RNG Testing (29), accounts and payouts (7), dispute resolution (6), self-exclusion (5), the Responsible Gaming page, the slots lobby, one game page and the casino promotions. The mirror we were served localised its prices, so this review prints no promotional amount.
The reviews ranking above this one disagree on basics. One names the owner as Exinvest Ltd, founded 2011; another gives the regulator as the Curacao Gaming Control Board; a third says Curaçao Gaming Authority. The operator’s own rules name Caecus N.V. and Curaçao eGaming; the regulator’s certificate, below, settles it: the Curaçao Gaming Authority.
The lobby, as listed
The slots lobby is a shop window first and a catalogue second: on our visit it led with daily free-spin hunts, a Game of the Week, live slot tournaments with countdown clocks, and a banner announcing that “the new provider Maxxi Labs is already here”, a supplier this desk examined in September. The casino lobby divides into Slots, Live casino, Quick Play, TV games, Bingo, Hunting & Fishing, Scratch cards, Crash Games, Virtual sports, Keno, Asian Games, Card games, Skill Games and Other games; game pages add a Bonus Wagering category.
What the lobby does not print is a number: no game total, no provider count. The provider menu in its own data runs to hundreds of entries, mixed with some single titles, including Pragmatic Play, NetEnt, Play’n Go, Nolimit City, Hacksaw Gaming, Yggdrasil, Red Tiger, Thunderkick, Big Time Gaming and Evolution. Casino.guru counts 229 providers; another review says “over 3,000 games”. We could verify neither; at this size the count matters less than what each game returns.
RTP: defined, not displayed
This is where the lobby fails the test Spin & Tell cares about most. Chapter 26 defines return to player properly: a theoretical percentage of stakes a game returns over a long run, worked out by calculation or by “virtual approaches”. By playing, the customer is taken to agree. What the chapter never says is where each game’s figure can be found.
The game page we opened offered real-money and free play, a strip of other titles and the running tournaments. It printed no RTP, volatility or maximum win before launch, and neither did the lobby. One ranking review says the brand “publishes RTP ranges for most game categories” averaging around 96%; no page we read contains anything of the kind.
That leaves the paytable inside each game as the only copy. It is the right place to look anyway, but it matters more here: a studio can ship one title in several RTP configurations, and nothing on the operator’s pages says which build its lobby loads. Open the help screen before the first spin, and treat any figure quoted outside the game, ours included, as second-hand.
Chapter 26, the casino rules
Most of what goes wrong in a casino account is written here in advance:
- Big Wins. Any win above €10,000 must be approved “by the Bookmaker’s partners” before it can be credited and withdrawn. The partners are not named.
- The server wins. If the screen and the server record disagree, the server record decides.
- Ten days. Complaints about bets more than ten days old are rejected outright.
- One bonus at a time. Bonuses queue rather than stack, typically valid for 30 days; free-spin validity is set by each game’s provider.
- The wagering formula. Unless a bonus says otherwise, you bet the bonus amount times its stated multiple, and until it is redeemed no stake may exceed €5.
- What does not count. Table Games, Baccarat, Roulette, Blackjack, Keno, Scratch, Bingo, Poker and “Others” do not count toward wagering, nor do games running in a tournament at the time.
- Abuse, by ratio. The rules define abuse as “70% bonus funds obtained on between 5 and 9 deposits”, or 50% on ten or more. Betting both colours on roulette, cutting stakes by more than half after a quick climb, and holding bonus rounds back also count.
The welcome package page served to us adds its own terms: x35 wagering on each cash bonus, a 7-day deadline rather than the chapter’s typical 30, free spins credited only once the cash part is wagered, and bets in 1xGames counting double. Check the current offer on the site. Where a promo-code box appears on this page, its code belongs to Spin & Tell.
The stop list
Chapter 26.2 is the part a slot player should read twice. It lists, by name, the games in which wagering “norms do not apply”: about 1,500 comma-separated names by our count, including some duplicate spellings. Roulette and blackjack variants, multi-hand video poker, bingo rooms, scratch cards and a long tail of video slots, Blood Suckers and Dead or Alive among them, run together in one alphabetical paragraph with no search and no providers. The line “Last updated: June 2022” appears six times inside it.
The chapter’s own text sends readers to “p. 25.2” for the list, which now sits at 26.2, then concedes it “may be subject to change” and says to ask Customer Support for the current version. A rule that decides whether your bonus play counts should not depend on a four-year-old paragraph and a chat window. The lobby’s Bonus Wagering category is probably the more current guide, but the rules never say it overrides 26.2. Before wagering, confirm your game with support in chat and keep the transcript.
1xGames, the house section
1xGames is the operator’s own branded section, linked from the main menu beside Slots and Live Casino; casino.guru lists it among the brand’s providers. Its lobby would not render for us in three attempts, so this review offers no game count or return figures for it. The promotions show what the operator wants from it: dedicated 1xGames offers and that double wagering weight.
That weighting is the detail to sit with. An independent studio’s slot at least has an outside sheet to check the in-game RTP against. A house game has only its in-game figure, and the rules name no third party that tested it. Steering wagering there is a commercial choice, not a reason to play.
The fairness and RNG page
Chapter 29 is mostly about what a “fair casino” is in general, then says the operator is one. Its specific content is brief: an RNG decides every casino game except live ones, and has been “extensively tested by running and analyzing thousands of game rounds”. Thousands of rounds is a small sample for a slot; the page names no laboratory, certificate, scope or date. Chapter 26 adds that “independent third-party testing organizations” test the products, again unnamed.
Chapter 26 also attributes the products to Curaçao eGaming, which the dispute chapter calls the “Master-Licensee”, to be contacted only over a licence breach. That chapter mentions complaining “through seal on the web-site”, and the seal is there, in the footer of the main 1xbet.com domain. It opens the Curaçao Gaming Authority’s certificate page, which on 27 October 2026 showed licence OGL/2024/1262/0493, granted on 7 November 2024 to Caecus N.V., status active. The mirror sites some visitors are sent to do not show it, which is why our first reading missed it.
Responsible-gaming tools
The Responsible Gaming page is earnest in tone and thin in tooling: a seven-question self-test, sound advice (cap time and money, never chase losses), and self-exclusion for one, six or twelve months. Chapter 5 instead says the account can be closed “for up to 5 years”. Activity limits are requested by emailing a dedicated address rather than set in the account; the operator “may limit” the maximum stake, with changes taking effect 24 hours after the last update.
Two clauses weaken the protection. A customer can ask to lift a self-exclusion early, with the decision resting with the company, and both pages allow early unblocking “in exceptional cases”. On security, the about page lists two-factor authentication, session monitoring, a security question and phone verification. Chapter 7 adds that document checks can take 72 hours, video verification up to 14 working days, and some payment systems’ checks up to 180 days. An account inactive for three months may be blocked, and a block covers every site of the same licence holder.

An operator that defines return to player in its terms ought to display it per game; one that fixes abuse ratios ought to keep its own stop list current; a fairness page ought to name its lab. If you play, read chapter 26 first, check every game’s help screen for its RTP, and set limits from the start.
FAQ
Is 1xBet legit or not?
It is a real, very large operation with a complete published rulebook. Its rules name Caecus N.V. as the licence holder and attribute their products to Curaçao eGaming, and the Curaçao Gaming Authority’s certificate page, read on 27 October 2026, shows that licence, OGL/2024/1262/0493, held by Caecus N.V., as active. The rules also warn that using the site may be considered illegal in certain countries.
Does 1xBet pay real money?
The rules say withdrawals are processed around the clock, with conditions. Your stakes must add up to your deposits, at odds of at least 1.1, before a withdrawal is allowed, and money goes back through the same payment details you deposited with. Any win above €10,000 is a Big Win, which the operator’s partners must approve before it can be credited.
Is 1xBet withdrawal legit?
Withdrawals depend on verification. The rules allow up to 72 hours to check documents and up to 14 working days for video verification, and some payment systems’ checks can run up to 180 days. Withdrawing while a bonus is still being wagered can cancel the bonus and its winnings. Verify your account before you need the money, not after.
Is 1xBet safe?
It offers two-factor authentication and account-session monitoring, and its rules publish the bonus and abuse terms in full. On fairness, though, the RNG page names no testing laboratory or certificate, and the game page we opened showed no RTP before loading. Activity limits are requested by email, and a self-exclusion can be lifted early at the company’s discretion.
What do 1xBet review complaints say?
On the review databases we read, payments come up most. AskGamblers says most of its complaints about the brand fall in its Payment category, with an average complaint duration of 18 days. Casino.guru counts 50 complaints and rates user feedback as Bad from 67 reviews. Those ratings are the two sites’ own, not ours.
